I have been hearing a lot about the Asus Zenfone 5Z Smartphone lately so decided to review it based on the one week of extensive usage. Asus has given some amazing smartphones in the past and Zenfone 5Z is no different either.

The phone is priced at 29,999 which is although surely not a budget price but the specifications and the usage says, that the price is totally worth.

Let us first see the specifications of the phone. Guys, one thing to be noted here is that, the phones these days have so many specifications listed on different sites that somebody who is not familiar with the technology gets confused rather than taking help from it. I am listing only the basic specifications which you should know before buying the phone

Look and Feel

            The USP of the Asus phones has always been its looks and how handy the phones are, in your hands. Asus Zenfone 5Z looks similar to the iPhone X and can safely be concluded as the cheaper version of the Apple’s Flagship. Asus Zenfone 5Z feels very comfortable in the hands. Although the phone is quite bigger in size but there is no problem whatsoever in carrying it. Also, the phone weighs just 155 Grams and hence feel lighter in comparison to its size and display. With an excellent resolution of 1080×2246, the screen looks bright and clear when turned on. Full marks to Asus in terms of looks of the Asus Zenfone 5Z

 Pros:

• In terms of price to performance it is a great phone. When compared to its peers, the base variant is very aptly priced and has all the features.
• Even the base variant has hybrid SIM slot which is rarely seen in other phones of its range.
• Excellent screen display with great color reproduction
• Finger print scanner is placed at a very convenient position as is quite responsive.
• Physical LED notification light present .
• Cellular network reception is excellent which leads to enhanced voice quality.
• Flagship class processor with fast UI which helps in smooth multi tasking.
• Even heavy games like Asphalt and PUBG can be played without any latency
• Excellent audio quality.
• Exceptional quality of camera which provides great clarity in pictures.
• The Snapdragon 845 processor is the fastest and the most powerful chipset that Qualcomm offers currently.
• The Adreno 630 GPU is very powerful and provides excellent graphics to the phone

 Cons:

• For a moderate user, 3300 mAh battery is strong enough to last for a day but for a heavy user and a gamer, the battery could have been made better.
• Since Asus Zenfone 5Z is not water resistant, the user of the phone must be careful enough to avoid the contact of phone with water.

Conclusion:

Asus Zenfone 5Z is surely not a budget phone but the features of the phone is total value for money. Also, Asus Zenfone 5 is the best quality camera phone and is surely for the photography enthusiasts as well as the moderate camera users. Asus has done an excellent work with Asus Zenfone 5Z in terms of looks, features, Sound quality as well as the camera quality.

With almost negligible cons, it’s a Total thumbs up from my side
